
AHM Mustafa Kamal, the Finance Minister of Bangladesh, is all set to unveil the national budget of Taka 6.80 trillion for FY ‘23 before the Parliament (Jatiya Sangsad) on Thursday (9 June).
Reports maintained this adding this is the country’s 51st budget and the 23rd of the current Government (Awami League) in five terms, while adding the budget will be about 15 per cent of the country’s gross domestic product.
All eyes would be on the budget tomorrow, including that of the garment exporters, to see what is there for the readymade garment sector of Bangladesh, which is considered the lifeline to the country’s economy.
