Gurgaon based luxury malls’ developer, DLF has recently revamped its mall DLF Place in Saket and unveiled the new brand name and logo for it.
The revamped mall, which will be called DLF Avenue, Saket, has a gross leasable area of 516,000 sq. ft.
Earlier known as DLF Place, the mall was closed down at the beginning of this year for a complete revamp, after successful operations for 10 years.
Pushpa Bector, Executive Director, DLF Shopping Malls confirmed that DLF has allotted 38 per cent space only for food and beverage against the earlier share of merely 13 per cent to the category.
DLF has been allotting nearly 12 per cent of the total space to F&B in all of their malls.
On the sidelines of Indian Retail Forum, Pushpa Bector said, “Our focus on continuous innovation has ensured that DLF properties cut through the clutter on account of the differentiated experiences they offer to their consumers.”
She further said “Based on brand and customer insights and expectations, DLF Avenue, Saket is a modern-day neighbourhood – A place that brings the community together by offering focused, curated shopping, an unrivalled F&B district and inspiring cultural experiences that will become social currency.”
The revamped mall will feature the best of Indian and international fashion and apparel brands across fast fashion, athleisure and ethnic segments.
New marquee brands like Uniqlo, Under Armour and Go Sports will also be a part of this re-imagined mall. There will also be a dedicated curated ethnic and fusion zone taking the ‘Make in India’ story to the next level.
In addition to an expansive F&B outlets, DLF has also introduced unique concepts that are first-of-its-kind including ‘Social Steps’ – an iconic, interior landmark – for people to connect; ‘The Plaza’ – a culture hub, with a resplendent greenery and a co-working space by WeWork within the premises.
