Spanish fashion brand MANGO opened its first in brick and mortar store under the partnership with e-retailer Myntra on October 4. The offline store is located in New Delhi’s Select Citywalk Mall.
The customers will enjoy shopping at the newly opened MANGO store in the capital as it is equipped with advanced technology.
Additionally, the checkout feature on tablets will allow customers to skip queues at the billing counters.
Myntra inked a deal with MANGO earlier this year that gave distribution and management rights for the label to former in the Indian market.
The fashion brand is planning to have 25 stores in India over the next five years. It will now open the next store in Mumbai’s Phoenix Mall soon. Three more stores will be added to Mango’s India list by the end of this year, as per the deal signed.
At these stores customers can browse the MANGO collection on a tablet, check out product details and availability, and have goods from other stores delivered to their doorstep.
Myntra and MANGO have been in association since 2014.
The brand sells its fashion products on Myntra’s online platform. The collaboration helped MANGO garner growth and consequently form a tie-up with the Indian e-retailer to open physical stores.
