As an initiative taken by the Government of Bangladesh for the RMG workforce of the country, especially the female workers, Meher Afroz Chumki, State Minister for Women and Children’s Affairs was present at the event for the inauguration of the new project titled ‘SNV Netherlands Development Organisation Working with Women’.
The Minister said that the Government knows that a large number of female garment workers face multiple problems including reproductive health which is being ignored very often, and ensured that the Government will try to make this project a success for the betterment of the RMG workforce.
