India's apparel exports to the EU reached a record of US $ 4.66 billion in FY 2025–26, rising from US $ 4.55 billion in FY 2024–25.

Kesaria Textile Company has expanded its retail footprint with the launch of 70 Kesaria Bazaar franchise outlets in just seven months.

The first initiative in central India is based on the successful model adopted by the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, and is expected to divert nearly 500 tonnes of textile waste generated daily from landfills and drains.

The new facility is expected to generate annual exports worth US $37.5 million, contributing to Bangladesh's export earnings and strengthening the country's footwear manufacturing industry.

A comprehensive support ecosystem would be essential to help smaller businesses strengthen their presence in international markets and fully capitalise on the opportunities created by India's expanding network of trade agreements.
