
Global marketing and communications company WPP has unveiled a strategic partnership with e-commerce giant Shopify to harness the power of its platform for enterprise clients.
The partnership seeks to co-develop products by bringing Shopify’s platform and WPP’s extensive network of over 13,500 commerce specialists together. This will help ambitious brands achieve rapid scalability and grow their consumer base.
Shopify and WPP will work together on product development as part of the partnership to build specialised products for industries including fashion, health and wellness, and consumer packaged goods. Along with the implementation of tailored international training and certification programmes for WPP staff, the alliance aims to certify 300 Shopify experts across the WPP global network in the first year.
