Centric Software, a leading Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution provider for fashion, retail, luxury and consumer goods companies, has announced that childrenswear brand Tape À l’Oeil (TAO) is set to deploy Centric 8 PLM software, which will support them in their strategic objectives and reinforce the brand integrity. The software will be used by the brand’s international team, including designers, product managers, buyers and pattern makers.

Olivier Paul, Group Buying Director, Tape À l’Oeil said, “Normally, it takes us between four to five months to make a product, but with Centric, we expect to reduce cycle times by 25 per cent, giving our designers and product managers the opportunity to better anticipate trends and adapt.”
The company also aims to use Centric’s other innovative technologies as well – particularly its integrated mobile applications – to support the relocation of key activities like quality assurance closer to suppliers’ production sites in order to reduce the average number of samples per style from three to one, and mitigate the environmental impact of international logistics.
