SureDone, a multichannel e-commerce platform, has added a new feature to support the business.
And what’s that! It’s added Amazon’s ‘Buy Shipping’ service that is important for the sellers who wish to participate in the Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime programme.
“In the coming months you’ll see SureDone breaking through traditional cost and feature barriers that have historically prevented sellers from leveraging top rated multichannel e-commerce platforms like ours,” said Jason Nadaf, founder and CEO of SureDone in a press release.
Amazon’s Buy Shipping service enables the seller to buy shipping labels in bulk or individually at a discounted rate from USP and FedEx, and also at the USPS Commercial Plus rates from the USPS.
It is also a requirement for the Amazon’s Seller Fulfilled Prime programme. Initially, the products from Amazon facility were eligible for Amazon Prime designation facilitating the delivery of products in a day or two.
However, with Seller Fulfilled prime, the vendors will be able to fulfill the Amazon Prime orders from their warehouse immediately resulting in reduced time and fee associated with shipping from Amazon’s warehouses.
The sellers using Amazon Buy Shipping service can now ask Amazon to remove negative feedback including delayed orders or order not received from their accounts when the orders were shipped on time. This might help eliminate the impact of seller’s defect rates, which is critical for any vendor as most of the customers look for reviews before making any purchase.
