Louis Vuitton, the renowned global luxury fashion house, has signed a significant lease agreement for four units at Mumbai’s prestigious Bandra Kurla Complex’s Jio World Plaza, underscoring its commitment to India’s thriving luxury market.
The lease commenced on 13th February 2023, lasting 114 months with a 60-month lock-in period and a monthly rent of Rs. 40.50 lakh. To secure this prime location, Louis Vuitton India Pvt Ltd provided a License Fee Security Deposit of Rs. 2.43 crore, alongside additional security deposits. Rent is calculated based on the higher of the minimum monthly guaranteed sum or 6 per cent of the Net Revenue Share, capped at Rs. 950 per square foot, with exemptions and escalations.
This move solidifies Louis Vuitton’s position as a prominent player in Bandra Kurla Complex, contributing to the evolving luxury retail landscape and setting the stage for a redefined luxury shopping experience in Mumbai alongside Jio World Plaza’s collaboration with other top luxury brands.
