A virtual shopping solution for e-commerce firms has been unveiled thanks to a partnership between Klarna, a Swedish fintech company, and retail experience consultancy Stellar Global.
In order to offer novel purchasing experiences and assist brands in increasing conversions, the tool integrates Stellar’s product demonstration teams and studio space with Klarna’s online tech connections.
“Since the COVID-19 pandemic, D2C brands have been investing heavily in their omnichannel retail strategies,” the companies said in the release.
It has also highlighted the demand for more dynamic, live experiences that enable customers to connect rapidly with a brand, “make buying decisions and secure a purchase — bringing the in-store experience online,” the companies noted.
A personalised shopping feed powered by artificial intelligence (AI) was one of a number of new solutions that the Swedish payments company Klarna introduced earlier this year for consumers, creators, and merchants.
The service makes use of Klarna’s in-house AI product recommendation engine to offer customers a “feed of highly personalised product recommendations” that gets more individualised as it learns more about their tastes.
