
Very.co.uk part of the Very Group, a multi-brand online retailer, has introduced a sizing feature to its website that aims to embrace style diversity and thereby help customers find their right fit garment.
And what else! The customers will be allowed to check the fit of the garment on real-life female models of UK sizes 8,14 and 18. The feature is launched for around 80 Nike and Adidas product lines which are live on Very.co.uk website.
The decision is for the fact that the brand is one of the largest online sellers of sportswear in UK and in the past 5 years, the sales have almost tripled. Notably, Nike and Adidas have contributed more than 200 per cent during the said period.
For now, the technology is available on Very.co.uk website; however, the brand is also working on introducing the technology on mobile app before the end of this year.
Aiming to promote size diversity and encountering the fit issue for enhanced shopping experience, the tool will also eliminate the need of ordering products in multiple sizes. This will help reduce the environmental and commercial impact associated with the returning of the garment, which remains one of the major challenges for the online retailers.
