Detego, the Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) platform, has partnered with Microsoft for accelerating the development of a latest cloud-hosted RFID platform for the retail industry.
Joining Microsoft’s FastTrack and co-sponsorship programmes, Detego aims to speed up its development process of the platform and develop its in-store shop floor ‘Money Mapping’ as well as its automated store planograms.
The platform will help the retailers to boost sale.
Moreover, as a part of Microsoft’s FastTrack programme, Detego will be working alongside Microsoft architects as they work to build the most sophisticated RFID platform on the market.
The focus is on building unique scalable model of the platform and development of smart feature that uses Artificial Intelligence and big data. Detego’s data science team will also continue to work on these smart features and push the limits of what RFID can do for retail.
“As software specialists, we have always seen the performance and scope of our platform as our main point of difference, so we are looking forward to working with Microsoft to take the platform even further and build the definitive RFID solution for retail,” said Leonid Sokolovskiy, Director, Software Development, Detego.
