Colorjet India Ltd., a leading manufacturer of digital textile printers, will be showcasing Vastrajet 8164, a 16 head digital textile printer at ITMA 2019, which will be held in Barcelona, Spain.
The printer is equipped with the latest Adaptive ink System (AiS) that assists the consumers to use ink of their choice, helping them address issues related to procurement, logistics, colour consistency, etc. These direct-to-fabric printers run with high speed while providing greater productivity, lesser faults and better maintenance at the same time.
Moreover, the AIVC technology in the machine further provides consistent print performance at varying conditions. “Being the leader of textile digital printing industry in India, it comes as a responsibility for us to create state-of-the-art products while keeping in mind the demands of the customers and Colorjet is dedicated to being at the forefront of fulfilling customer needs,” said Jitender Pal Singh, Vice President (Textiles), ColorJet India.
Also, on display will be the Metro 8166, which delivers industrial-level production at a maximum speed of up to 294 square metres per hour. At the event, the Metro 8166 will be operated on reactive ink whereas the Vastrajet 8164 will be operated on pigment ink on cotton blended fabrics.
“When developing the Vastrajet 8164, our R&D team aimed at increasing productivity, performance and reliability, which ultimately resulted in a product whose performance increased by up to 70 per cent from its predecessor, making it one of the fastest printers in the market in this category,” added Pal.
