Isn’t it interesting to have a shirt that allows contactless payments from the cuff?
DressCode, the Cambridge-based fashion tech start-up, has made this happen. It’s come up with a men’s tailored smart shirt that allows users to pay for goods using the cuff of their shirts.
DressCode has launched this in partnership with DIGISEQ – a wearable enabler.
The CashCuff uses Near Field Communication (NFC) technology connected to Mastercard repaired card. The company has also partnered with MuchBetter, the payment application, which assists in the functionality of CashCuff.
CashCuff seems to be the one every fashion-conscious high tech lover is looking for!
Explaining further, Andy Bothman, CEO and Founder, DressCode said “It’s hidden away out of sight, but always there when you want it. CashCuff is defining fashion-tech, a marriage of the simplicity of contactless payment with exquisite tailoring.”
Andy added “Designed with slow-fashion and the environment in mind, DressCode shirts will withstand hundreds of washes, making them eco-friendly and of extremely good value.”
He also said that “With a CashCuff shirt from DressCode, our customers have one less thing to worry about. They have money available on-demand, no wallet…no phone…no problem. It’s perfect for going about your daily routine safe in the knowledge that you have cash on hand whenever you need it.”
DressCode specialises in designing ultra-high-quality shirts that are hand made by a small team of tailoring experts.
