EFI Optitex, a leading provider of software solution for the fashion and apparel industry, has entered into a partnership with Rapha Racing, one of the biggest cycling clothing manufacturers.
With this partnership, Rapha Racing will be implementing EFI Optitex 3D for streamlining its design and production process.
Continuing its journey towards the adoption of digital solution for enhancing its designing process, the EFI solution will assist the company with its commitment to deliver high-quality products on time and on budget.
Rapha initially implemented EFI Optitex 2D solutions to its workflow; however, for integrating the 3D digital capabilities, the company has chosen to invest in EFI Optitex 3D solutions for enhanced designing capabilities.
Currently, the company is indulged in training and on-boarding to implement EFI Optitex 3D Pattern Design Software (PDS) with photorealistic renderings and the 3D Design Illustrator (3DDI) plugin.
The 3D capabilities of the solution will help save a huge amount of time involved in sample production time. This will also allow sharing of files for quick reviews and approvals while eliminating any digital steps involved in the design-development stage.
More on the same, Atelier Claudine Rousseau, Head, Rapha, said “Investing in 3DDI will greatly help our graphics team to visualise graphic applications, and facilitate a more experimental approach. Besides, it will help reduce errors in communication with our vendors, thereby helping save both time and costs.”
EFI Optitex General Manager Amir Lehr mentions “As an amateur cyclist and an avid customer of Rapha, I’ve learned to appreciate the functional fit, care for details and meticulous design Rapha provides. We share the objective of accelerating concept-to-delivery and customisation while maintaining strict quality control enabled by digitising the workflow, today, and well into the future.”
