This JIAM, Groz-Beckert displayed its vast assortment of needles for every application: lock stitch, chain stitch and overlock seams, for sewing buttons and button holes, for blindstitch seams, as well as for decorative seams and embroidery, for leather processing, and for other special applications.
Also on display was the special application needle San 10 which offers higher stability while being gentle on knit fabric. The re-engineered version of the needle capable of stitching even finer materials than its predecessor and quite suitable for the new style yarns available in the market. It is ideal for fabrics with a high tendency to be damaged during sewing and for extremely sensitive fabrics that can only be sewn at minimal speeds and with extremely thin needles. It can also be used for sewing bulked yarns and elastic yarns. With the San 10 needle, it is possible to use thicker threads with the same needle and it can also be used in multi needle machines. Whatever the fabric, the result is that it even stitches; a gentle treatment of the processed material and higher productivity. Also, there is an amazing reduction in the number of missed stitches and in needle breakage during the stitching operation.
