Paco Rabbane, French Fashion House, has chosen Centric PLM software, to streamline its product related operations as a part of the wider bid to create a product data base.
The brand is more than 50 years old and is a part of PUIG Group, a Spanish fashion and fragrance business. The decision to choose the Centric software was influenced by the fact that PUIG and Centric already work together at group level as a PLM partner to Nina Ricci, a fashion house owned by PUIG.
“We have seen the effect of Centric PLM implementation at Nina Ricci, and we wanted to capitalize on their experience. We could see that Centric PLM would help us to be faster in our operations, improve efficiency, and provide a reliable source of reference data,” Bastien Daguzan, CEO, Paco Rabbane quipped.
The implementation of Centric PLM will begin at Paco Rabanne later this year, with an initial focus on modules that handle style creation and costing.
“We want the complete product development process visible in the system. Once we are handling the basic information about styles in the system, the parameters can be extended depending upon user feedback. Our expectation from this project is that we will streamline our processes and internal databases to better address our business challenges,” concluded Daguzan
Paco Rabanne, the founder of the brand was a refugee from the Spanish Civil War, he became famous for his idiosyncratic design, involving chainmail, plastics, and other non-traditional materials. The brand has slowly evolved and is now known for luxury apparels, fragrance, and accessories.
