Duerkopp Adler Pfaff Indonesia, popularly known as DAP Indonesia, has announced the relocation of its offices in the country to cater to the business development needs.
The company has moved both the offices – Jakarta office and Semarang office – to a new address in Semarang City, Central Java which is a new industrial development area in the region.
According to a press note sent to Apparel Resources by Helen Wu Jing, General Manager, DAP Sewing Technology Singapore Pte. Ltd., the Indonesian representative office treats this movement as a new starting point for the company’s development in the country’s market which shipped over US $ 7.80 billion of apparels worldwide in pandemic-ravaged 2020.
It’s worth noting here that Indonesia is amongst leading apparel and textile producing nations in the world and has 74 industrial parks (as of 2019) in major hubs such as Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi and Kalimantan.
DAP Indonesia is a representative office of a Chinese-German joint venture primarily engaged in sewing equipment and sewing machinery of the German brands Duerkopp Adler, Pfaff Industrial and KSL.
The representative Office was established in 2017 in an effort to promote DAP Sewing Technology Co., Ltd.’s business and build good relationships with local contacts in Indonesia.
Indonesia’s major apparel export commodities are trousers, t-shirts, jackets/outerwear and ladies blouses amongst many products and DAP Indonesia, since its establishment in 2017, has been catering to the needs of the factories to produce quality garments in lowest possible overall cost.
