Clariant is a preferred partner in the specialty chemicals industry. It recently launched in Kolshet (Thane), Maharashtra a continuous coating machine, made by Werner Mathis AG, Switzerland, along with a lamination facility, which has been installed by Clariant Chemicals (India) Limited.
The new machine makes it possible to have control over drying time and also finishing time.
The new machine makes it possible to have control over various parameters such as the add on, drying time and also finishing time. It will be beneficial in technical-oriented coatings as well as in fashion-oriented coatings. Some of the major applications of this machine are: Foam coating on denim, Pigment coating, Black outs, Upholstery, Shower curtains and Sheen coating.
The coating machine will enable Clariant to imitate customers’ production processes for trialing or problem-solving and will also help in demonstrating new products and developments.
