    Under the ‘Manufacturing’ segment, Team AR takes a review of three major garment manufacturing companies which have been witnessing growth. Tirupur-based AKR Industries, one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of fleece-based garments and currently doing a business of Rs. 450 crore, is aiming to achieve Rs. 1,000 crore in the next 5 years. Also, Bangalore-based Gokaldas Exports Ltd., with employee strength of 25,000, and 85 per cent being women, is looking at expanding existing factories to ensure maximum utilisation of space. The company showed a remarkable turnover of Rs. 341.26 crore during the Q1 of 2019-20, compared to Rs. 284.91 crore gained during the same period of last fiscal. Similarly, Tirupur’s apparel manufacturer, International Trading Company (ITCRmg) understands that since 90 per cent of the domestic market is unorganised and dealing with distributors is not easy, it chose catering them through technology – the Ajio B2B Business Model.
