
Popularly known as headwear pioneers in the US, New Era is celebrating their 100th anniversary this year.
To commemorate this milestone, they have brought Yohji Yamamoto on board to create a special collection of previous bestsellers.
Yohji Yamamoto’s collaboration goes back to 2013 when streetwear was taking off. Since then, the two have produced multiple successful capsule collections over the years.
The collection itself features past styles from Yamamoto including his signature illustrated T-shirts and bucket hats. The collection also adds new bags including a black backpack and a smaller sling bag.
All the caps in this collection feature Yamamoto’s signature embroidered into them and are available in a wide variety of styles including baseball cap, bucket hat and a beanie in various colour choices.
The campaign is named ‘MASTERPIECE CAP’ and will be available starting 15 April.
