The physical-digital hybrid celebration honoring the late Vivienne Westwood gets London Fashion Week started on Friday.
According to the British Fashion Council, LFW will spotlight her extraordinary impact, as she changed not just the fashion business but also the world by identifying punk and giving life to it.
127 brands are represented in the LFW lineup, with 104 physical activations and 41 digital ones happening as planned.
The BFC NEWGEN designers and the DiscoveryLAB up-and-coming artists who don’t yet satisfy the primary schedule requirements will also be featured this week.
The week’s physical features comprise two appointments, 47 catwalk performances, 18 presentations, and 37 other activities.
The five-day fashion week also features Ukrainian Fashion Week on Tuesday, February 21, as one of its major events. Three designers in the NEWGEN market—Frolov, Kseniaschnaider, and Paskal—will be the subject of this.
