The NFL is commemorating its 100th anniversary this season and a collaboration with New York-based DKNY is on the cards to enhance the celebrations of the league.
The collaboration offers the creation of an exclusive womenswear DKNY sports collection co-branded with the logos of the participating 31 teams.
The range encompasses of street-style-inspired looks with a feminine touch to give women a substitute for the loose-fitting jerseys that are extremely popular among fans. This collection will comprise styles such as puffer coats, sneaker dresses, classic leggings and cropped hoodies, all co-branded with the logos of the team.
Beginning in October, a selection of sweatshirts, jackets and vests will be added to the range, with the overall pricing starting from US $ 40 for T-shirts to US $ 150 for outerwear.
The collection comes as a result of a licensing deal between DKNY and the NFL.
Starting this month, the DKNY x NFL capsule will start retailing via Macy’s stores, select stadiums and on the DKNY, NFL and Fanatics websites.
DKNY had also launched another sports-inspired collection with Major League Baseball. It was a part of an effort by the largest global retailer of licensed sports merchandise, Fanatics, to focus on more upscale brands.
