Messe Frankfurt, France is organising four major events on fashion, technology and textiles — Texworld, Apparel Sourcing, Avanprint and Avantex-2016 — at Le Bourget in Paris between February 15 and 18, 2016.
Texworld Paris continues to grow with its distinct offerings and has seen participation by 150 exhibitors in the past 10 years. Being at the heart of the event this year, China will exhibit a plethora of offerings like knits, sundries, accessories and casual wear. A group of Turkish companies, specialising in accessories, and countries like Pakistan, and Taiwan are also participating in the event. Materials like linen & Hemp, woollen, denim, casual cotton, casual knits, silk, jacquard, fake fur etc will be put on display at the fair.

Apparel Sourcing Paris, on the other hand, has registered an increase of around 30 per cent in the participation of clothing and textile accessories manufacturers. More than 230 exhibitors are expected to make their presence felt at the fair. Some of the highlights of the event will be ‘Dialog Textil Bekleidung’, a networking platform for the players in the supply chain, Morocco’s entry at the event, representation of casual wear by Bangladesh and participation of a Japanese knitwear producer. The event will also feature a shawls and scarves fair — “Shawls & Scarves – the accessories showcase”, with an aim to set a benchmark for all the accessories.
Avanprint Paris that will be organised simultaneously with Texworld Paris and Apparel Sourcing is going to be a debut event that will showcase digital printing solutions. It will feature manufacturers and distributors from the digital textile printing domain. It will feature machines (roll-to-roll, single pass, DGT and narrow format), peripherals and inks, sampling machines, software and colour management solution etc. The knowledge partner of Avanprint is the World Textile Information Network (WTIN).
In addition, Avantex will be dedicated to high-tech fashion fabrics and R&D vertical. The fair will prove as an indicator of the current fashion trend and innovative solutions.
