SGS, the Switzerland based inspection, verification; testing and certification company in an endeavour to drive awareness about Product Safety and Sustainability Issues in Global Textiles Markets hosted an Interactive Technical Session and Networking Dinner. The technical session on ‘Product Safety & Sustainability Issues in Global Textiles Markets’ was delivered by Dr. Karen Kyllo, Deputy VP Global Softlines, SGS USA. Held on 11th December 2014, in Noida, the session was designed to support the exporters industry in meeting the increasing challenges of the global markets. “Today’s business atmosphere is extremely dynamic on both ends – the manufacturer as well as the buyer. And the US particularly is a tough market to navigate as there exist two different sets of regulations-State and Federal. Such events are vital to keep the manufacturers updated on new developments and to consider the full impact of their activities and policies on one of the world’s most diverse global supply chain,” stated Kyllo.
