2017 autumn edition of Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, one of the world’s largest apparel fabrics and accessories fairs, is all set to open doors on October 11.
The apparel fair attracts thousands of apparel fabrics and accessories suppliers, garment manufacturers, trading companies, retail chain stores, buying offices, wholesalers, etc. from around the globe every year.
The 2017 autumn edition too expects to welcome over 74,000 visitors from more than 90 countries and regions around the world.
Over 4,553 exhibitors from 29 countries and regions are expected to showcase their latest innovations in products and technologies under the theme ‘All about Sustainability’ at National Exhibition and Convention Center, Shanghai, China.
The three-day fair will be held over 260,000 square metres of area.
Various sustainable products, solutions and technologies will be displayed at Beyond Denim, Functional Lab, SalonEurope and Accessories Vision zones during the show.
Companies like Yagi & Co. Ltd., a Japanese firm that manufactures recycled cotton yarn, knitting & weaving fabrics and denim products, will display Recycolor-branded, GRS-certified recycled cotton developed products at the fair.
Additionally, Orta Anadolu, Kipas Denim and Soorty Enterprises will introduce their own eco-friendly denim production processes at the event.
Newtech Textile, a Chinese textile company, will also showcase its patented COOLTRANS transfer printing and dyeing technology at the show. The company claims that the tech is an eco-friendly alternative to digital inkjet printing.
Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics will also witness panel discussions on key topics such as ‘Sustainable Fast Fashion’, ‘Sustainable Denim’ and ‘Organic Cotton Trends & Certification’.
In addition to Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, three other textile fairs including Yarn Expo Autumn, CHIC and PH Value will also be held concurrently at the same venue.
