The renowned home fashion fair Heimtextil India will kick-start its 5th edition on 27 June in the capital city. The three-day event will see a host of buyers and sellers at Pragati Maidan.
Organised by Messe Frankfurt, the Indian chapter of Heimtextil started back in 2013 and since then, it has provided a reliable platform for Indian exporters to highlight their innovative products to the right buyers. It is the season opener for new trends and textile innovations. With the boom in the retail sector in the past decade, the fair has grown in relevance more and more with each passing year. In fact, it has grown to such an importance that buyers and exporters alike look forward to it.
Players like D’décor, Aditya Birla, Reliance, R.R. International, GHCL Ltd., Manorama and many more will be showcasing their new products amongst other A-list brands displaying the best in Dining, Living, and Home Textile sectors. The co-located fairs (Heimtextil and Ambiente India) will host over 165 exhibitors and attendees from countries like India, China, Indonesia, Switzerland, and Thailand, keeping exhibitors and visitors engaged. Harish Gupta, CMD of Jaipur based Bella Casa, which is among the featured participants of the show, tells us, “We are very excited about our products as we always get good business from Heimtextil. Our designers have worked on the latest trends and designs for the upcoming display. We are using satin and natural fabrics this time.” This year, they are bringing in a collection of dohars, quilts, and bedsheets based on Disney and Hallmark themes.
The Indian edition of the show will have a plethora of design concepts, native décor themes, art, colour trends, and fresh business ideas through a host of supplementary events. The show would have ongoing panel discussions, a special skill zone, a special display area, and a unique experience zone dedicated to innovative concepts in interior design.
On the first day of the show, Minister of Textile, Smriti Zubin Irani will inaugurate and address the show, followed by leading brands unveiling their collections in Dining, Living, and Home Furnishing.
