
The 20th edition of Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Autumn Edition 2014 that opens this week is touted to be unprecedentedly grand with a record 13 halls spread across150,400 sqm attracting around 1,350 exhibitors from 31 countries. The three-day fair, held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from 27 to 29 August, is expected to attract around 40,000 buyers.
The 20th anniversary edition will host a greater number of design-related events in the fair’s fringe programme, such as the 2015 Intertextile International Lifestyle Trend Forum (hall W1) will present four themes for next year’s overseas trends, while the China Home Textile Trend Forum (hall W3) will exhibit snapshots of trends of the domestic market. The debut Home Decoration Trend Area (hall W2) will illustrate the ‘whole-home design’ concept using a complete range of home textile products.
