
The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and the European responsible fashion sourcing programme Source Fashion have partnered to promote the new Developing Countries Trading Scheme, which offers insights into increasing trade with 65 developing nations by eliminating or cutting import taxes.
Prior to its trade fair, which takes place from 14th–16th July, Source Fashion is organising an exclusive webinar on 13th June titled Maximising Benefits from the Developing Countries Trading Scheme. The webinar will feature policy advisers from the FCDO, Sabiha Ahmed and Jasmine Dirie, talking about the goals and advantages of the plan.
This seminar is expected to give businesses useful insights into the most recent laws, show them how to take advantage of opportunities, and explain how the plan may assist UK businesses expand economically while also supporting growth in developing nations.
The DCTS aims to support nations in diversifying and boosting their exports while offering financial incentives to UK companies sourcing goods from these regions.
