A 62-member trade delegation, led by Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), is visiting India as part of an entourage of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who is in India currently.
Led by FBCCI President Md Jashim Uddin, the delegation consists of BGMEA President Faruque Hassan, BKMEA Executive President Mohammad Hatem, Business Initiative Leading Development (BUIKD) chair Nihad Kabir, amongst others.
According to reports, the principal aim of the visiting delegation, which will take part in various meetings, is to elevate the trade ties between the two countries.
