According to the latest data released by General Administration of Customs, China (GACC), China’s apparel and accessory exports have jumped by 6.10 per cent to US $ 25.46 billion in Jan.-Feb. ’22 period.
In the same period of last year, China could ship apparels and accessories worth US $ 24 billion to the world.
As per further analysis done by Apparel Resources using GACC data, textile exports of the country seemed to be on upward trajectory after a long time.
All through 2021, textile exports of the country remained negative and concluded the year with US $ 145.20 billion revenues as against US $ 153.78 billion export figures tapped during 2020.
This, however, has changed – at least for a while – as China’s textile exports upped by 12 per cent in Jan.-Feb. ’22 period clocking US $ 24.74 billion revenues.
Collectively, the country’s textile and apparel export stood at US $ 50.20 billion, noting 8.85 per cent yearly growth.
