As many as ten organisations in Bangladesh are set to get textile awards from the Government for their contribution to the sector this year.
This information was reportedly shared by Golam Dastagir Gazi, the Textiles and Jute Minister, who reportedly said the awards will be handed over to the entities concerned on National Textile Day programme in Dhaka on 12th December.
The Minister further reportedly added Prime Minister Shiekh Hasina will inaugurate the main event, to be held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre, as the Chief Guest, which will be attended amongst others by State Minister of Labour and Employment Begum Mannujan Sufian, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi and Chairperson of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Textiles and Jute Ministry Mirza Azam.
