Carter’s has recalled over 50,000 infant onesie-style footed pajamas as small metal wire pieces were found in them, posing puncture and laceration hazards to young children,
Carter’s, Inc. is a major American designer and marketer of children’s apparel.
Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued a statement in this regard.
It is also pertinent to mention here that so far no incidents/injuries have been reported from these products.
Made out of fleece and featuring an all-over heart design and a pink animal graphic on a yellow background, these products were produced in Cambodia.
These were then sold in children’s sizes – 12M, 18M and 24M – at multiple retailers including Carter’s, Kohl’s, Macy’s, Belk, Boscov’s, and other stores nationwide and online at www.carters.com – from July 2022 through September 2022 for about US $ 22.
CPSC has said that the consumers should immediately take the recalled infant-footed fleece pajamas away from children and return them to a Carter’s store location for a full refund in the form of a gift card.
