Lindex, a European fashion chain, has took a latest step in exploring new innovative more circular ways of working with the launch of Re:Design – a collection of exclusive upcycled products that have been redesigned and remade locally in Borås, Sweden.
Re:Design is a pilot that Lindex has done in collaboration with Re:textile at The Swedish School of Textiles in Borås. The collection consists of six pieces within women’s wear originated from Lindex Better Denim garments from previous seasons which have been redesigned and remade in Sweden.

“We are so excited to launch our Re:Design collection. For this collection, we have looked at each original garment’s possibilities and explored new circular ways of working to use less resources and prolong the garments lifetime. Prolonging the life of great garments by redesigning them into new amazing pieces is really one more step towards a more sustainable and resource efficient way to produce great fashion,” says Sara Winroth, Sustainability Manager, Lindex.
