
A fire erupted at Tanzila Textile Limited, a garment factory located in the Baroipara area of Ashulia, Dhaka, on Wednesday morning, resulting in injuries to five workers. The blaze occurred around 10 am and was quickly addressed by two units from the DEPZ Fire Station, who managed to bring the fire under control within 30 minutes.
Preliminary reports indicate that the fire originated from a malfunction in the stander machine on the factory’s finishing floor. Senior Station Officer Pranab Chowdhury confirmed that two of the injured workers are reported to be in critical condition. The identities of those injured have not yet been released.
The injured individuals have been transported to various hospitals for treatment. As of now, the extent of the damage caused by the fire remains undetermined. Fire officials are continuing to investigate the incident to ascertain the full details surrounding the cause and impact of the fire.
