
Shri Vallabh Pittie Industries (SVP), a leading India-based textile company known for its revolutionizing innovations in polyester and cotton blended yarns, has today opened its Rs. 450 crore textile plant in Jhalawar, Rajasthan. Spread across 25 acres of land, the plant is fully automated with 1,00,000 spindles having a manufacturing capacity of 22,000 tonnes per annum.
Chirag Pittie, Managing Director, SV Pittie Group states, “Projects like ours will help the Rajasthan Government to generate sustainable employment. Direct employment to over 500 people and a stable source of livelihood to more than 30,000 farmers will be provided annually through this project,” adding, “Our capacity will increase to 200,000 owned spindles as the new plant will produce high quality compact yarn of count 20 to 60.”

Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, who inaugurated the plant, said, “We are committed towards forging partnerships that promote manufacturing and create employment opportunities in Rajasthan,” adding that the setting up of textile unit in record 9 months period by Pittie group is an excellent example of development realised by effective governance.
