LE Textile, a manufacturer of stretch fabrics and laces for lingerie, swimwear and sportswear, has created a special collection using Tencel lyocell fibre, which will provide a soft and supple handle and better comfort to the wearer. The new fabrics will be showcased at the Interfilière show to be held in Lyon from July 9-11 this year.
The newly developed soft fabrics are said to offer sustainability advantages, reinforcing the company’s commitment to using sustainable materials and production processes. A special line in the collection also contains polyamide to ensure that the fabrics can mould to the body.

The new range is produced using top-quality spun yarns with first-rate mechanical properties ensuring that fibre fly does not cause any problems during processing. The fabrics that can be produced from Tencel yarns are smooth, two-way stretch fabrics with dense surface and soft handle, lightweight, all-over-patterned lace, tulle with two performance profiles among others. Tencel is a sustainable fabric, regenerated from wood cellulose with its hand and feel similar to rayon and bamboo grown sustainably. Its manufacturing engages recyclable, nontoxic chemicals, creating soft, absorbent fabric, which is wrinkle-resistant and drapes well.
