Zalando, the German fashion e-tailer, has appointed Laura Coppen as its circularity director!
Laura has been one of the main forces in developing the H&M Group’s sustainability and circularity strategy for nearly 5 years.
She was the in-charge of H&M Group’s Creative Lab, which focuses on boosting the sustainability content of the Group’s creative process.
She worked there as a sustainable innovation research manager from February 2016 to May 2017 after which she was appointed as team lead for circular business development, until the end of November.
Before the appointment, Zalando published its first diversity and inclusivity report in mid-November and also launched the e-tailers’ Greenhouse digital showroom that features the eco-responsible labels and designers.
Moreover, the retailer also showcased the results of its first CSR audit that was carried out with over 250 partner brands.
With Laura’s appointment, the retailer is making strong commitments to its sustainability goals and aims to push its partner labels towards greater transparency.
