
Williams-Sonoma, the US home furnishing stalwart, has appointed its new CFO.
Jeff Howie, the new CFO, will succeed Julie Whalen who will be leaving the company to be the new CFO at Expedia Group.
Notably, Jeff isn’t new to Williams-Sonoma!
Jeff, during his 20 years at Williams-Sonoma, held important leadership roles at Pottery Barn Kids, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Teen and Williams-Sonoma brands.
While announcing his appointment, Jeff also expressed his commitment to helping the company surpass its goal of US $ 10 billion in revenue.
Crediting Jeff for orchestrating the success of several of company’s key business initiatives, Laura Alber, President and CEO, Williams-Sonoma, said “Jeff’s financial acumen, institutional knowledge, operational expertise and foundational contributions to our growth initiatives make him uniquely qualified to become Williams-Sonoma, Inc.’s next CFO.”
With an annual revenue of US $ 8 billion, the premier specialty retailer is growing very fast and India seems to be on its top priority.
