American designer, manufacturer, and marketer of women’s lingerie, womenswear, and beauty products, Victoria’s Secret is all set to make its Parisian entry.
As the brands preps up for its upcoming runway showcase in New York, its long-awaited arrival in France is up for being cemented. The unveiling of its first store in the country is scheduled for 2019 via a franchise deal with the lingerie brand’s Italian business partner Percassi.
The Bergamo-based retail and real estate firm is now in charge of Victoria’s Secret’s operations in France and Spain, in addition to already handling its home market of Italy.
While Victoria’s Secret and its associates haven’t revealed any further information regarding the opening, it’s been no secret that the brand has been eyeing the much coveted Champs-Elysées for its first Parisian boutique since a long time now. Percassi has also revealed that they are looking to hire around 100 people for the sales team.
Victoria’s Secret currently operates 1,200 stores globally. In France, the brand is represented by a travel retail location at Orly airport, following which a similar store is slated for opening at Toulouse-Blagnac airport in March 2019. Another boutique, also operated by Percassi, is set to open in Rome in December 2018.
