Versace, an Italian luxury fashion business, has committed its communication to Mathieu Baboulène, an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience working with fashion houses like Dries Van Noten, Kenzo, Coach, and Maison Margiela, in order to bolster its position on the global arena.
Baboulène has recently joined the Versace team, serving as the global director of communications since June 2024, following four years as the global head of press, PR, influence, and VIPs at Kenzo.
He will be working under Caroline Deroche Pasquier, who was recently named vice president of international communications, in this Milan-based role.
Baboulène has just acquired a great deal of significant experience. She has a degree in the management of luxury products and handicrafts. In 2004, he started working as a press assistant at Michele Montagne and later at Quartier Général. After that, he worked for a number of fashion brands, including as Givenchy, Coach, Maison Margiela, and Kenzo.
