Fashion designer Vaishali Shadangule has opened a flagship store in Mumbai’s Fort district in Kala Ghoda. The boutique’s launch also debuted the brand’s new home décor line and partnership with scooter brand Vespa.
“Vaishali S is very proud to announce the opening of our new and improved flagship store in Fort Mumbai,” the brand announced on Facebook. “Among our couture designs, you can now explore our home decor line. Vaishali S home decor distinguishes itself with collections of 100 per cent sustainable home accessories inspired by the necessity to repurpose discarded materials. We are grateful to everyone who joined us on this exceptional day.”
The store is an intimate space where Vaishali S’ tactile gowns hang alongside eclectic wall hangings and mobiles made from scraps left over from previous clothing collections, Vogue India reported. A Vespa scooter also adds to the colourful store to mark the brands’ new collaboration.
“In addition to the new store and collections, Vaishali S is proud to announce a collaboration with the luxurious and fashionable Vespa, connecting to emphasise the synergy of both names across the freedom of expression and individualistic lifestyle choices,” says Vaishali. Vaishali S was founded in 2004 and is known for its unique craft-based textures and ethical fashion practices.
