Uniqlo International is out with its third-quarter results!
The fast fashion stalwart from Japan has just witnessed its Q3 revenue go up by 13.9 per cent to £ 1.5 billion.
The operating profit rose by a decent 5.6 per cent to £ 32.4 million in the quarter that ended 31 May 2022.
The retailer has attributed the growth to significant increases in revenue and profit across Europe, North America, South Asia, Southeast Asia and Oceania.
Buoyed by the good numbers, Uniqlo now expressed confidence that it will see large increases in revenue and profit in the second half of the year as well as the full year.
Uniqlo Japan, in particular, saw its operating profit touch £ 230 million, at a growth of of 76.2 per cent in the said period – thanks to eased restrictions and more demand for apparels meant for social outfits.
Founded in 1949, Uniqlo, reportedly, has 2,358 stores across the globe.
