The British apparel retailer has signed men’s formalwear license deal with Baird Group. The core focus of Ted Baker now is to enhance the efficiency and speed of its menswear operations worldwide.
As a part of the 3-year deal, Baird Group will help Ted Baker to make and distribute men’s formalwear not only in the UK and Europe, but also in other parts of the globe excluding North America.
In North America, Ted Baker partners with Jack Victor for men’s formalwear.
Notably, the maiden collection from the duo will be unveiled in Spring next year.
The deal, Ted Baker believes, will help it utilise the benefits of Baird Group’s expertise, scale and vertically integrated model.
Here it is important to state that Baird Group specialises in men’s formalwear, and besides a strong digital presence, operates from 48 bricks-and-mortar stores.
With Jack Victor in North America and Baird Group in the UK and other parts of the world, Ted Baker is confident of bringing consistency and flexibility in its formalwear collections.
Ted Baker will have control over all the products that are made through both the deals so that there’s complete alignment with the brand’s direction.
Ted Baker, which has stores across the world, generates revenue of £617.4 million.
