Oliver Kamp has been appointed retail director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at New Balance, marking his departure from Lacoste after nine years with the French fashion brand.
In his new role, Kamp will be responsible for overseeing retail strategy and operations across the EMEA region. His appointment comes as New Balance continues to build global momentum, supported by sustained investment in retail expansion and product innovation.
Commenting on the move, Kamp said he was attracted by New Balance’s strong heritage, athletic credibility and innovation-driven approach. He described the opportunity as one that aligned closely with his professional values and expressed enthusiasm about contributing to the brand’s next phase of growth.
Kamp’s exit brings to a close a nearly decade-long tenure at Lacoste, where he most recently held the position of retail and omnichannel director for Central and Northern Europe. During his time at the company, he played a key role in developing retail performance and omnichannel integration across multiple markets.
Prior to joining Lacoste, Kamp served as head of retail for the DACH region at Mammut Sports Group AG. He previously held a similar role at Quiksilver, further strengthening his background in international retail leadership within the sports and lifestyle sector.
