Fashion e-commerce giant Myntra reported a visible surge in business growth with double the amount of sales in its premium ethnic wear category.
The fast-growing numbers are the result of a major contribution of 60 per cent coming from the metro and Tier-1 cities and the wide array of brands for men and women that Myntra is constantly adding.
The vast portfolio of 1000-plus brands offered by Myntra offers more than 3.85 lakh styles to customers. As per the company, the women’s ethnic wear category gained more popularity during their 18th edition of the ‘End of Reason Sale’.
According to industry reports, the ethnic wear market is set to reach US $ 24 billion by 2025, allowing for new brands and individuals to dive into the vast possibilities and explore new opportunities within this segment.
