India’s emerging all-linen fashion label, KAVERI Fashion, has inaugurated its new store in Bandra, Mumbai. The brand belongs to fashion luminary Kaveri Lalchand who is also a prominent Lakmé Fashion Week Designer. This recent expansion move follows the success of the brand’s Kala Ghoda retail establishment. It’s a strategic step in the brand’s ongoing initiative to broaden its retail footprint across India, with existing stores in Chennai, Kochi, and Mumbai, and upcoming plans for Ahmedabad, as part of a nationwide expansion slated for 2024.
The new store showcases a diverse collection, featuring contemporary styles such as tunics, kaftans, sarees, and modern co-ord sets, and jacket sets, all crafted from linen fabric.
A spokesperson representing the brand expressed enthusiasm about the new Bandra store, highlighting it as a pivotal moment in their retail expansion. He also revealed the brand’s commitment to offering handcrafted luxury with a mix of tradition and modernity.
Notably, KAVERI stands as India’s exclusive all-linen slow fashion brand, extending its reach to include a children’s line under the label Baby K. Additionally, the brand features Love by KAVERI, a concept store in Kochi specialising in holiday, lifestyle, and home wear. The brand’s repertoire also encompasses Couture by KAVERI, an exclusive line comprising wedding and festive wear crafted from pure linen.
