French luxury house Lanvin Group has chosen Shopify to create a new online platform in North America.
The Group, reportedly, announced that it will be using Shopify’s technology to ensure its e-commerce operations are streamlined.
The technology is intended to be used across Group’s current and newly acquired luxury brands, while maintaining databases and interfaces of each brand.
The partnership between the Group and Shopify is being seen as an effort on the part of Lanvin to enhance its customer experience and provide improved and localised omnichannel shopping services.
More on the same, Joann Cheng, CEO and Chairman, Lanvin Group, said that owing to strong e-commerce capabilities brought by Shopify, the Group is now even better equipped to capture the significant growth opportunities that it identified in North America, the world’s largest luxury market.
It was only last year that Lanvin Group had announced a change in its name from the previously called Fosun Fashion Group.
