
Flipkart, has introduced FlipInTrends, an initiative designed to drive growth for Made-in-India fashion brands. This new effort aims to maximise opportunities for Indian fashion brands during the upcoming festive season, as announced in a company press release.
The Bengaluru-based platform has brought together over 100 Indian fashion brands for the FlipInTrends initiative. Accessible through the Flipkart app, FlipInTrends uses advanced AI, modern merchandising techniques, and insights from over 500 million users. It also helps fashion sellers by adding trend forecasts to the Flipkart Seller app dashboard.
“The launch of FlipInTrends marks a significant milestone in our journey to curate cutting-edge trends and redefine the fashion shopping experience for our customers,”said Pallavi Saxena, Senior Director at Flipkart Fashion. “We are dedicated to supporting and focusing on Indian fashion brands by ensuring they have access to the best insights, which in turn enables brands to bring the trendiest collections to the Flipkart marketplace,” she added.
The launch event took place in New Delhi, featuring celebrity stylist Rhea Kapoor and a fashion show with Bollywood actress Mouni Roy. Additionally, the event launched the ‘Flipkart Fashion Trends 2024,’ a coffee table book showcasing upcoming seasonal styles.
