Dry Goods has announced its plans for expansion, with upcoming store openings in Tennessee, South Carolina, Alabama, New York, Indiana, Arkansas, Ohio, and Kansas. With these expansion plans, the company’s total store count in the US will rise to 81. Dry Goods operates as a subsidiary of the US-based retail chain Von Maur Department Store.
Melody Wright, the Chief Operating Officer of Von Maur, expressed enthusiasm about the achievements of Dry Goods while emphasising their commitment to expanding the brand’s reach. She mentioned “excitement in introducing the brand to fashion-forward shoppers who are seeking the latest trends in clothing and accessories.”
“To make sure our customers have the choice to express their individual style preferences, we regularly update our inventory,” a company representative said. From party-ready ensembles to festival season must-haves, Dry Goods is the go-to destination for the latest fashion trends,” said a Dry Goods spokesperson.
Dry Goods started its first store in Aurora, Illinois in 2010, and has since specialised in junior contemporary women’s fashion, offering various apparel, accessories, and shoes. According to Lindsay Caltagirone, Vice President of Dry Goods stores, the brand was created to introduce a new generation of younger, fashion-forward customers to the company’s tradition of customer service.
